Because if you don’t take an online quiz, can you really be sure of who you are?
Like most of us, I went through my two year phase of endless Buzzfeed Quizzes.
I now am confident that if I went to Hogwarts, I would sorted into Ravenclaw; I know what shade of brown Drake’s eyes are; I should’ve been a politician; my alcohol preference pins me at a 92 year old war veteran; if I were a type of potato dish, I would be a tater tot; and if I were a character in Finding Nemo, I would, surprise, be Dory. Very important character evaluations.
A better personality evaluation test to take, one used by a lot of employers, career guiders, psychiatrists and just curious introspective folk in general, is the Myers Briggs test. There are 16 different personality types which, if you’re honest with yourself when answering questions, are freakishly accurate.
16personalities.com is a fantastic site that gives a in depth view into what your test result means with regards to strengths, weakness, career, relationships, parenthood; the whole enchilada.
Click the above and explore your own personality. I’m a tried and true ENTJ so here’s to embarking on my new career as the next Judge Judy.
As I understand our generation uses online quizzes as means to virtual self-definition, Myers Briggs has been debunked by some as a new form of astrology. Take it as you will – a cheap form of therapy, a glimpse into why you forge connections to people you don’t have much in common with, or a means to being less offended by/more aware of yobvious imperfections because no one is perfect…besides Beyonce.
